This photo is an an accidental homage to Walker Evans’ iconic 1931 photo, ‘Torn Movie Poster’, taken before I knew about his work. Evans photo was an early photographic example of the largely abandoned French art form, known as Lacéré anonyme, on which the work in this gallery is based. His photo is next.
