Lord Creator (born Kentrick Patrick, circa 1940, Trinidad) was a hugely successful calypso and soca artist during the 1960s. Alongside Cuban Rolando Alphonso, Barbadian Jackie Opel and fellow Trinidadians Lynn Taitt and Lord Bryner, he was an important outside influence during the early development of the Jamaican music scene. Released in 1964 and produced by 'Sir' Coxsone Dodd, Big Bamboo was one of his biggest hits. Lord Creator now lives in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
